im looking at the re sex12s2 in a ported box. i know they used to make good ****, are they still the shiz?

i would run at 4 ohms to match the rms of the subs but they can handle 1200 peak so i figure at 2 ohms the amp wont put out a full 900 since its a cheaper brand amp. would this be a good combo? im wanting something to compare to my old diamond d9 1200.1 and L7 12 in a slot ported box that i had in my z71
want loud, decently durable sub that hits low and sounds decent. the l7 i had was nasty loud, but i dont really want to get another one for some reason. wanna try something else. how would that amp be? dont wanna spend a fortune
