Josh40601 1993 Ford Ranger

November 2010 Street Truck Of The Month

About My Ranger:

This is my 1993 Ford Ranger that my dad and I built in 6 days.

The castle is in the background is The Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky.

The Ranger is 2WD and has a 4.0L V6 with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 8.8-inch rear axle came out of a 4WD Ranger and has 4.10 gears and a limited-slip differential.

The wheels and tires are from a Ford Mustang.

The color is a factory Ford blue from a 2001 Edge.

The gauges were updated with white gauge faces. The rest of the interior is all stock except for the stereo and and some spray painted trim pieces.

I used a DJM 3/4 kit to drop it, and all of my lights, grille, mirrors and trim came from Ebay.

Total cost for the build: $3,300.00 including the truck.
