Ok Folks, lets see your towrigs getting used.... I don't wanna see rangers haulin stuff, we all do that every day. Lets see what hauls your rangers, or does your heavy hauling.

Post can also include towrig specs, and trailer specs. Bonus points for purpose built equip/trailers etc.

Here's mine:

95' 2500 12V 5spd 2wd w/ 20' on 7k axles.

Yearly meets in Ktown>>>

I bought my 92 C2500 from the original owner who had a construction company, when I bought it he gave me the ORIGINAL title. I put the 95 Yukon grille on it, 05 C2500 wheels, and bought the Gator Made trailer NEW in 05 outta Somerset, KY:

No pics of the new truck with the trailer so you can use your mind a bit....

Trailer:

2010 35' Prowler Shadow Edition By Heartland RV, double slide outs. Weighs in at around 10k lbs depending on how much shit is in it.

You can see the old tow rig sorta parked behind it. It was a 2003 F350 6.0L PSD, 2.5" Leveling kit, 4" turbo back straight pipe, and LT275/70R18's on 18x9 Incubus crushers.

New tow rig is a 2008 F350 6.4L PSD, H&S tuner, AFE DPF/DOC Delete pipe. Will be getting a leveling kit in the spring and the Incubus Crushers will go on it with some new rubber.

Thought I had a picture of it...guess I don't....

I'll play. My tow rig:

79 F350 dually. 12v Cummins, NV4500 5spd, NP205, High pinion Dana 60, Sterling 10.25, 11,000 GVW, Custom built by me.

The trailer: 2000 10,000 GVW 20' hydro tilt

Couple RBVs in tow :D

With my EB in tow

I for got to mention Its also a dump truck. 3 ton of dirt and it only dropped an inch :thefinger:

My old tow rig, sold it a couple weeks ago. 01 F250 XLT, 6 speed, 3.73's, 35" Grabbers (yuck), 2.5" Rough Country leveling kit, DP tuned, ATS Turbo housing, 4" stainless Magnaflow and 127k at the time of the sale. Best truck by far I've owned to date.

New tow rig. 00 F250 Lariat, V10, auto, 3.73's, 285 Cooper AT/3's (265's in pic), Borla exhaust, FIPK, aftermarket y-pipe, Firestone air bags, 113k. Fuel mileage sucks but it was dirt cheap and babied it's whole life. May be a candidate for a Cummins swap later in life.

Why didn't you like the grabbers maverick? I've only heard good but it's all been on dd/ww smaller rigs. (jeeps, yota's, ranger)

1badexplorer--- that's just freaking AWESOME!

Start with what I liked.

Handled heavy loads well.
Fairly chip/cut resistant.

What I didn't like.

Half gone or more at 12K.
Sucked in the rain.
Flat out scary in the snow.
Less than stellar dry pavement traction.
Red letters started separating and turned pink so I pealed them off.
Cost considering the overall shitty performance.

I can easily say they are the worst tire I've ever purchased hands down. They excelled at nothing. My previous tires (Nitto Terra Grapplers) were far superior in every category other than load handling, where the difference was negligible. Maybe I would have had a different experience with a smaller truck, but I doubt it would have been enough to change my mind.
