It looks like my buddy is pulling out his Dana 44 in his ranger for a 60, and he wants me to buy his 44. So what's it worth?

When was all the stuff added and does it work?...that you know of or have you used it to see that it is in good shape?....If it breaks you are stuck with it. Just take your time and see what he feels it is worth and just make an offer after he tells you what he needs to have for it. I can't see it so I can't let you know what it is worth. One of my buddies sold his 2 weeks ago with Yukon gear setup with 4.88 gear and Yukon axles for $700 and it was mint shape and only about 3 months of use.

Yeah it's basically 6 month old parts, if that. I'm having a hard justifying $1000 to put my 4.56s in my truck. It's really not worth that much as a whole. I figured solid axle might be the way to go, but I'm really doubting it. I might just put the gears on craigslist in trade for complete 4.10 axles, or what I paid for them. I'm really not sure right now.
