Will I regret swapping my WARN lockouts back to the autos?

When I got my truck I had to do a bunch of front end work to it among which I went ahead and replaced the factory auto lockouts for a set of Warn manual ones. Now I don't do off road per say other than when work requires and for hunting so nothing radical. 2 things I notice people talk about in 4wheeling is manual lockouts and Tcases. I do need to diagnose my 4x4 system yet which is the dash push button set up(93 xlt) and get that repaired, but that aside, as concerns both gas mileage and performance will I regret putting the autos back on once I get the 4wd working again? TIA for any input.

Yes, you will regret swapping to auto. Keep em manual...

:icon_thumby: this.

I've toasted auto hubs on 31's while trail riding...
or they won't lock in when you need them to...

I don't know what kind of effect going back to auto hubs is going to have on your gas mileage.

But yes, you will regret it eventually.

The problem I had with my auto hubs was that I had to be going about 20mph for them to engage. That doesn't help a lot if you can't get the thing out of the driveway.

Well, you guys could have been a little more direct about it.;missingteeth;;missingteeth; j/k, but you did convince me

This was the clincher though, I live right on the edge of 2 townships in a metro area and they are terrible about plowing. If I'm going to have 4wd I want to be able to use it. If the above was to hold true for me I'd never get out of my neighborhood. Might as well get a 2wd. lol

Thanks guys.
