Hi all, I was talking to my grandpa and he said that that the f-150 suspension bolts up to the ranger, to get a poor mans long travel. I was wondering how true this is and what all I would need to pull off of a f-150 to get it to work... Ive got a 2wd 96'

well even if they will Id think the front tires would be way outside the fenders.

The I beams themselves will be too long. The radius arms might work, but I don't know first hand.

he said long travel so im guessing you want a wider track width right? the main thing im curios about is the difference in mounting locations. the spread between beam pivots on your ranger is smaller than the f150 frame.

the beams on f150s and rangers are both unequal. they need to be unequal the same amount between trucks to work right. the f150 frame is wider, so when put on your ranger, the passenger side wheel will probably stick out further than the driver haha

You need to find some prerunner guys. I know F-150 has been swapped into a Ranger before. Don't know what was involved though.
