width question...30x9.5x15 on a 15x10...possible?

is a 30x9.5x15 possible to mount on a 15x10 inch wheel?
just curious because i am considering buying new wheels because my current ones are damaged, i want a wide look. just that i dont have the cash for some tires at the time.

I've seen it done. i really don't reccommend it. maybe if it was JUST a daily driver.

My GF's brother has a wrangler with 235/75/15 on 15x10 wheel. Looks funky but it works

Possible? Yes. Retarded? Yes. A 15x8 is a little wide even for that tire...

forgot to mention that it is my daily driver. so do you guys recommend a 15x8? how much narrower would the stance be? because i am aiming for a wide stance.

oh and does anybody have any pics of 30x9.5x15 on a 15x10 wheel? curious on the look

the biggest problem is that if you air down when off road, it becomes extremely easy to pop a bead.

I would recommend putting them on your stock 15x6 or 15x7 wheels...

I put 9.5's on my '99 with the stock rims, and it works pretty good. They rub just a hair when I turn to the left, but I can deal with it.

currently i have a set of 9.5s on my stock 15x7s but as i had said. they are bent quite a bit. so i want to replace them with a new set. but i would much rather have 15x10s.

how much narrower is a 15x8 compared to a 15x10? (mounted)

Have you done this yet ?

If not, just for a point of reference, I am running a 16 x 8 w/ 35 x 12.50 tires; so IMHO, I would think the 8" rims will be too wide for the 9.5 tires.
I would run a 7 or even a 6" wheel.
