So ford has that new Godzilla 7.3 going in the superduty and it appears to be an inch longer than a small block Windsor and 2 inches wider. I cant afford to do it right now but maybe down the road I will try to accomplish this task. (The wife wants a new house.....) but maybe we can crowd fund a TRS show truck for Detroit or Sema. Obviously @Jim Oaks is gonna have to be the guy to be the spokesman if the truck gets there and built.

I do know a guy who builds hotrods for a living so I can see if wants to round up sponsors or wants to throw in knowledge.

So lets make a list of want the truck should be in terms of year, driveline, etc...

I guess it might fit if you do this.

We couldn't seem to stick together long enough to build a 24 hours of Lemons vehicle... with a total budget of $500. Not sure how this project would get funded and the logistics... become the real problem for a project like this.

Well I guess if someone can sweet talk ford into donating a motor lol and transmission and computer and.......

That rod appears to be on a king pin VW front end.
I just looked at the ad some more. There isn’t anything Ranger there aside from the cab sheet metal. His ad doesn’t give much description. The pictures do the talking. 2x3 frame, studebaker engine typical rat rod mishmash

No no no not a rat rod....... thats the easy way out.

This is not the 7.3 Ranger I was hoping to discuss.

I have dreams of someday building TRS-3 from a 1989-1992 Gen II Ranger. A 7.3 would be cool, but I surely don't have the funds for it. At 600,000+ page views a month, I can get it exposure, but my pockets aren't deep enough to just go buy a new 7.3.
