Who knows the difference between f57aa and f57fa torque converter ?

Same part, the AA might be a slightly later revision in the same 1995 first year or someone just dropped an A because they are the same

F5 = 1995 << year part was first used, not the year of vehicle it was used on
7 = Ranger, or light truck
AA or A is a revision designation << when a small change is made to a part Ford would update the revision number to AB or AC

If a part was changed significantly the Year would be updated so 4L5AA = 2004 Ranger 1st revision

A 2004 part can fit a 1985 vehicle, so backwards compatible, or it can fit a 2020 vehicle, so don't let the Year of a part number throw you off
