I got a 2000 Ranger 4x4 that had a 3.0. I did a 4.0 swap from a 2000 Explorer. My question is I can not find where the wire for the Oil Pressure Gage is in the engine bay. I have the sensor off the 4.0 that has a green/ white stripe wire. I used the wire harnesses in the engine bay from the 3.0
The plug from the 4.0 that had the wire for the gage also had the wiring for the AC compresser (Black, Black/ gray stripe, Red/yellow Stripe, Gray/white stripe) and starter (Yellow/gray stripe), total 6 wires.
The 3.0 plug that has the wiring for the AC compresser also has the wire for the Starter, but there is another wire that is the same size and color (Yellow/gray stripe) in the same plug, Total 6 wires. Problem is I am not sure which is for the Starter and what the other wire is for or if it is for the oil pressure gage.
If that plug is incorrect for the 3.0, where is it and is it still green/white stripe?

The oil pressure sending unit on the 3.0 is located on the back right side of the engine. It screws into the back side of the motor below the head. I will try to double check the eire colors later today.
