It tied in to another hose on the other side of the engine. I was looking for something on the driver side of the engine, but finally saw the other hose hanging down on the passenger side. I appreciate the help and responses.
If the truck was operational that line off would cause some idle issues if it was disconnected.
It looks like it is well protected though and that is important because they melt very easily on exhaust manifolds and EGR pipes...glad you figured it out either way...
It's a vaccum line, that connector on my 1995 at least connects to the vacuum ball via another line. That connector was in the middle of the line, connecting the engine half to the body half. Do your HVAC vents work right?
