you can get aftermarket 15x7s which would solve your problem, eagle alloys has them in a 15x7 with a 0mm offset wich would work perfect with your 235s (a 15x8 is a little too wide IMO for a 235).

I checked out Eagle Alloys and I guess I'm gonna be stuck with a chrome finish. I really wanted something in black with the machined rim

no problem, you could go with a steel wheel if you want black, it doesnt have the machined lip but its a black 15x7 with the right offset.
here it is (pretty cheap too!)
