i plan on getting 20" rims with probably 45 series tires. i will probably be dropping it before i get my wheels but i dont want to drop it too low and my wheels not fit. i planned on get a 4/5 lowering kit but im not sure if i could still fit 20" rims and still have full turning radius. any imput would be great, thanks.

We have some knowledgeable people on here, I've already read this thread and thought about answering, but I'm not into lowering pickups and putting on rims of that size.

I'll stick with my more forgiving 15" rim and tire combo.

Canadian, I at first wanted to say that you'd have no room, but that's a trick thing to answer because you could do some work on your inner fenders to fix any rubbing issues if you do continue the lowering process. I would recommend borrowing some rims that are close to what you're thinking about and test fitting them. By jacking up the truck on the beams and doing a lock-to-lock check, you'll figure out where your potential problems lie.
