what do u guys do to clean your cylinder heads? i haev one of right now and i would like to get it nioce and clean, i have heard to use easy off oven cleaner but wont that eat the seals ?

the BEST way to clean your heads is to disassemble the heads completely and take them to an engine machine shop where they will bake them in an oven to burn off any grease / oil and dry up any dirt and then it will be put in a shot blaster which will blast the metal clean. then you blow any loose shot or rust out of the cooling ports and bolt holes. wipe down with wax and grease remover and then spray down with engine paint. one paint dries reassemble with new valve stem seals and youll have a happy clean head. ( i would recommend getting the valves ground if it has high miles).
