what years of a box will fit 2001

hey all. this is out of my year of knowledge. friend looking at a 2001 extra cab that was hit in back end. everything is decent on it however the back of box, tail gate and lights are smashed. he wants to know what years of trucks will be a direct bolt on for the frame.

'93-'11 Regular Cab Short box and SuperCabs all have same 6' box. ?'08?-'11 have 10 bolts to frame, while older one only have 6. You want tail lights from '01-'11.

Stepside boxes are also 6', so bolt on, but you want to grab fuel filler and rear bumper to make look right.

'83-'92 boxes direct bolt on, but the wheel arch shape is different.

Mazda B2300/3000/4000 boxes also direct bolt on, but tail lights are different shape and they use the older 3 colour (amber for turn, red for running/brake, white for reverse) pattern which is different than 2 colour pattern for the '01.

I will add that body lines will only match up on 93+ beds. The older beds fit fine, but look odd. You would need the older taillight housings but you should be able to use the same bulbs and all.
