I have a worn out 2.8 in the ole B2, leaks, burns, lots of blow by out the dipstick tube. Until I find the right 302 (Cheap!) to replace it with I have been getting rid of years of leftover oil from various projects. So far I have used alot of different brands of 2 stroke oil, motorcycle fork oil, ATF fluid, hydraulic oils, some mystery oils that the labels had fallen off. Starting to deplete my supply and may have to actualy purchase some 10-30 soon!

so you're saying you use that stuff in your crankcase? no wonder it burns oil and has extreme blow-by!

if your truck is that worn out, i would use anything as well. why buy good oil on a worn out, toasted hunk. save the money for the new engine. hopefully, soon before some evio-quack, takes a picture of it running and uses it for propaganda.

Use it in the crankcase, or at least what will stay in the crankcase! Too many hard miles on the turd 2.8 so not going to spend a dime on it to rebuild. When I dump a couple qaurts of 2 stroke oil in it smells just like a 2 stroke mx bike.

My old VW bus burned and dripped oil so bad that I always used other people's old oil in it.

That was back when I was an asshole.

Hey ya gotta do what ya gotta do. I did it in my F150 b4 I put a new engine in it.
