What sounds like tread noise when cornering one direction?

My 97 xlt 4.0 drives and handles fine but I have noticed since I put new rear tires on and rotated the old rears to the front that there seems to be excessive tread noise only when cornering, even slightly but from only one side.
After a half hour of driving or so, the noise starts coming from only the opposite side but never from both sides.
I thought it might be bad autohubs but I have since replaced those and both the rotors seem to be tight and well adjusted.

Any ideas on whats going on?
Thanks folks!

I would assume they are an aggressive tread design to make any noise.
Could be on the rear they got edge or center worn, and are now wearing the opposite on the front.
I would give it a week or two to see if the wear into front wheel alignment.

I have had tires do that. I have also had a bad carrier bearing make noise only turning in one direction. What kind of tires are you running?

Well the tires don't have a very aggressive pattern at all and certainly less than the ones I had on before. And those never made this kind of sound.
I don't even think these are all seasons.
I'm not even sure that it is the tires making the noise at all.
But it sounds like an extremely aggressive tread pattern like what a 4x4 with monster mudders sounds like rolling down the highway.

The part I cant figure out is why the noise changes sides?

Usually when I first start to drive, the sound comes from the front right, but only as I turn the wheel left. The more I turn, the louder it gets.
When going straight, there is no noise at all but even the slightest turn to the left is enough to be heard in the cab.
After a half hour or so, the noise moves to the left side and only happens when I start to turn right. The more I turn, the louder it gets.

Turning left no longer makes a noise from the right.
Until I drive some more and then the noise shifts sides again...
