How would my mazda B3000 3.0L sound if i cut off the muffler. Is it worth my time or should i just buy a flowmaster 40? I really dont want it to sound like a rice grinder!!!

it will sound like a bumble bee meets a tractor. im pretty sure that would be illegal to have no muffler. in new york by law your exhaust cant be louder than stock, most cases they wont do anything unless it is way too loud, like having no muffler, i would at least go with a $20 cherry bomb, but i bet that would even be too loud.

The cherry bomb on my crap red truck is pretty loud. I assume most people think I just have a huge hole in the exhaust somewhere.

Depending on the year model, you could go with a flowmaster 40 series or something like that. On the newer models, probably like 2000 and up, that are not too too loud, but sound pretty decent. Yea, cherrybomb glasspacks are cheaper, but they are loud and to me, don't sound all that appealing. Maybe even a dynomax or thrush turbo muffler would sound ok on your truck without being too loud.

I have a Cherry Bomb turbo on my 03 3.0 with only 1 cat on it sounds really mellow but a nice rumble, but it is not as loud as i like so i am saving my change for an electric cut out.
