what ranger leaves to weave into explorer pack?

The more blocks you can get rid of the better. The higher the blocks the more axle wrap you'll get. I lifted the back of mine with a custom set of drop brackets. Just some solid stock, welder and a drill.

thanks, i would do that, but i just moved across teh country, and have no access to a shop or welder. so back to my original question...are there differnt explorer leaf ratings?

and would sport trac leafs give me more lift?

4-door Explorers will have stiffer spring packs than 2-door ones. However I'm not sure if any available towing packages changed the spring ratings further or not.

i put just set of explorer leaf springs in my truck with a 4 pack and it give me 3 inches of lift. by them selfs and i think they flex better and ride better

So do you think that an explorer pack plus the ranger main leaf plus belltech shackles will give me 3.5 inches of lift at least?

Gee thanks for the advice, I'm trying to figure it out so I don't waste money on extra stuff, hence the purpose of this post.

If your getting the spring packs from a newer explorer (95-01) you'll want spring code F (4-leaf pack)
Can be found in 95-01 XLT 4door 4x4 models.

Sport Tracs with a towing package come with I believe spring code 2, cant remember exactly right now. Im not sure if you'll get more lift out of them then the others or not. I would imagine so being sport tracs are heavier and dont suffer from the explorer sag in the rear.

Hey thanks for the info, ill keep my eyes open next time I go to the yard,

Where are you living at? I have my old custom drop brackets sitting in the garage doing nothing. I scraped the Ranger when I made the Exploder.
