what kind of tranny fluid do I use in my 1988 ford ranger and how much

I just pulled my tranny out and got it service and I wanna know how much tranny fluid it takes and what kind also do I use the same fluid on my transfer case and how much yhanks

Engine size.....this would determine which transmission was in the '88 truck?

Looks like two different automatics were offered in '88, Ranger, so should be either a C3(3-speed) or A4LD(4-speed)
