just curious to see what ppl on here jam out to... i listen to a lot of hard metal, bands like trivium, all that remains, five finger death punch, killswitch engage, in flames, stuff along those lines... but i have a very eclectic taste in music, you might hear me jamming out to tupac, bon jovi, or even *gasp* aviril lavigne... but for the most part, i'm a metal head...

so what do you jam out to? name some bands as well, maybe you guys know of someone i dont, and i'm always looking to add to my music collection... the iPod has 24 gigs of music on it... over 130 gigs of free space...

Sorry about that brother.

Some of my favorite bands:
Lamb of God
Death Angel
Sodom
Anthrax
Light this city
Pro-pain
The Agonist
Arch Enemy
Celtic Frost
Gwar
Amon Amarth
Slayer

Stay safe over there.

Old-school rocker here....I'm old, so go figure! Also like blues, bluegrass, zydeco.....not exclusive; if it's good, I like it.

Judas Priest
KISS
W.A.S.P.
Great White
Poison
The Godz
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Queen
Aerosmith
Ted Nugent
Nickelback

...just some of what's in my collection of pushing 600 or so CDs. Also have a ton of vinyl, still.

i miss vinyl! nothing like the rich tones that come from it! i'm still pissed at my stepdad for selling his stack of records from the 60's and 70's... i love the classic rock from the 70's, never did get too much into "hair metal" and i'm getting old myself, you know you're getting old when you hear music that was popular when you were a kid, such as Nirvana, on classic rock radio stations...

I like old rock some new music and forced into some country.New hard rock seems screeching and without soul.If other people enjoy it that's great but when I have to listen to it all day it negatively affects my attitude in a serious way.
I grew up in the 70s so everyone I know remembers the first time that great new station tells you its a classic station it hurts just a bit. What I think is interesting about music is I see young people listening to the music I loved as a young man a lot.During the 70s that was our music and you didn't hear the adults music at all here it is 2011 and its still not uncommon to see a 20 year old playing Back in Black like its the new thing.

Always thankful to those who serve.

I listen to a lot of industrial and rock, but I losten to just about anything depeninding on the mood. I agree on the vinyl part - nothing is cooler than Otep or Combichrist on LP on a nice old console stereo with e big old 10" woofers.... now THATS a nice sound. Some of the othe bands I listen to would be...

-Asphyxia
-Dawn of Ashes
-Dioxyde
-Feindflug
-Orgy
-Combichrist
-Coal Chamber
-Adema
-Fiona Apple
-Nine Inch Nails
-Beethoven
