What kind of gear do you have

4So what kind of (dirtbike) gear do you guys have? I got GMAX helmet, scott goggles, thor boots, answer jersey and pants, yea a bit of everything, Im gettin new gear as soon as possible
what do you think of sixsixone?
heres some boots at a local dirtbike shop in town..
there on for $169.99
think theyre any good for a birthday gift?

Don't need no fancy gear, I've got a helmet, gloves, steel toes and the clothes on my back.

My buddy rides with helmet, gloves, knee and elbow pads and a hydro back pack.

I carry only a receiver hitch "bike carrier" in the bed of my Ranger for when one of the guys I chase brakes down in the desert or mountains.

i know fox and alpine stars are good boots(good friend races)
never used 661

i personally use whatever i can ger for cheap
oneil helmet(used once, got it for free)
oakley goggles, only bought a lenze for them so far(tinted)
scott goggles(clear)
fox and moose gloves(moose gloves are much sturdier, i wouldnt buy another set of fox gloves, ever)

thats about it
o and timberland boots!!!
thats all i need for my mud runs on my quad

I don't carry much. Since the trails I ride are not very wide.

Small tool kit, w/ bandages
Mil-Spec reflective vest

Everything is either worn on me or packed in-line with the seat. No saddle bags since trees eat the heck out of them.

Shift gloves, old Shift Cargo pants, gotta change 'em soon!
Axo boots.
Chest protector, but no knee or elbow pads, can't stand 'em.

And best of all, all my gear almost matches. I'm pimpin'

I've got kind of a mix/match set. I've got Fox boots, a Fly Kevlar helmet, Fly gloves, Scott goggles (are there any others?), a Moose chest protector and Fox shin and elbow guards. Depending on the weather, I use Fly pants/jersey and a Thor jacket with zip off sleeves or MSR gortex top and bottom if it is wet/cold. I usually carry a spare set of gloves and goggles, a hydration pack, and a Fly tool bag. You can't wear too much protection. There are nasty things out there just waiting to get you!

I only wear the EVS and Moose stuff when I'm going on a long ride and want to be well protected, if I'm just cruising around town or in the woods around here I wear my boots, helmet, gloves, jeans and a long sleeve shirt.
