Title says it all. What has this winter done you your vehicle? Rust? Dents? Broken lenses/glass?

rear doors, rear wheel archs and frame all rotted.....

Well my B2 looked like crap when I got it, so weather doesn't really make a difference on mine. I'm guessing the cowling below the windshield is rotted out because when it rains I have a lake on the passenger side floorboard...this explains why the carpet has been removed.

The passenger side is pretty full of rust holes along the lower body sections. Driver's side isn't as bad.

The driver's side floor pan has a small section about 2" long where it looks like the PO drove over something they shouldn't have and broke the weld on the floor pan around the door area.

Other than that it starts and drives, can't really expect much more out of a 30+ year old truck that the PO beat to crap and neglected in every way imaginable. Built Ford Tough...Yep my B2 certainly was, its still going.

finally had to put floors in.

fawked up the firewall ect from the collapse.

Hmmmmm...what is winter?? lol

On my 85 B2, the weather and road salt have claimed the rear wheel arches, the rear most passenger body mount, firewall is a Tad rusty along with under the kick panels. For being nearly 30 years old my truck has held up surprisingly well for being from Nebraska. Usually everything rots to hell here, seen a newer Chevy Silverado, it had already has rust holes in the rear wheel arches.

I always thought Chevy's were made with rust. At least that's what I've heard a couple people that claimed to work in the factory(ies) years ago say. That the "steel" the body panels were made from was shipped from China (the literal slow boat):icon_twisted: with no coating in rolls carried above deck. Supposedly they dipped them in acid to dissolve the rust and some of the rolls didn't have enough metal left to be useful.

That's the great thing about BC, they don't use salt. Lots of winter, but not too much corrosion issues because of it.
