Maybe as a Brit abroad I am searching for the wrong thing, but I have a '99 XLT Ranger 4x4 and all I want is a weather proof cover I can put over it as I do not have a garage, and it has developed a leak somewhere on the drivers side which I cannot get to fixing yet.

I have tried looking everywhere and searched for everything I can think of and the result is always the same - nothing.

Anyone have any info on something like that?

I don’t recall any US sold car covers being completely waterproof but I never really looked into them much.

How about a small tarp? Could bungee cord it in place at least over the cab area.

Yeah, that's what I have ended up. It's ok but not stellar. Was kinda hoping to get a shaped cab cover or something - never mind, this will spur me on to fixing the issue properly......I hope!

I had a pile of hard drive magnets from a stack of old hard drives I tore down, and we had an ice storm coming and I found those, I used the smallest tarp I had, 7x9 I think it was. It fit my cab perfect with enough overlap to give the magnets plenty to hold on to. It is a super cab size and the 7x9 did perfect' I think it even covered the toolbox enough to keep it from freezing shut

www.covers4cars.com is where I got my cover. I got the midgrade one, it's not fully weatherproof according to them, but I stored it outside for 6 months once and the truck was dry the whole time. They do sell a completely weatherproof one. They fit perfect!

Thanks to everyone that has responded - this is fantastic information and will allow me to find just what I need.

landscaping pond liner works really well but is pretty darn heavy but lasts a long time. A regular blue tarp only has lasted less than a year out here in Colorado. have it on one of my trucks and hasn't cracked yet also reduces hail damage.

I've used California Car Cover for years. See CaliforniaCarCover.com. They are waterproof and last.
