If it ain't broke, I can't fix it.
I V8/T5 swapped my Ranger back in 2010 and I've enjoyed it at it's current ride height for the last 7 years that I've owned it, but I believe it's time for a change. I'm actually a Fox Mustang guy at heart with the need for a truck which is why I did this build in the first place. I want to bring the truck down to a height a little lower than a stock coils spring truck. Not knowing anything about torsion suspensions, I'm unsure of how to go about this or if it's even possible without using custom designed keys.

Anyone out there done this before? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can crank the tosion bars down on it just like the 4wd guys crank them up. Thats probably good for 2 inches. Idk how to get it much lower than that tho.

I think those came with lift blocks. Take those out to drop the rear too.

It's definitely blocks in back, but that will only get me stock ride, so I'll have to do something additional there. As for the front, I figured that this truck probably has different torsion keys. If I crank them down, will that affect my spring rate or merely affect ride height? I would also need to address the camber at that point I would imagine...

If you want to lower the rear more after removing the block, you can flip the shackles. Like this except the pictures in the link are both after pictures. I think it good for about 5 inches of drop.

If you don't want to do that you could do an axle flip like this.

Cranking down the bars will mostly affect the ride height, but you will have less up travel so that will affect it some when you hit a big bump or something. I think you should be fine with just an alignment after cranking them down.
