Very Strange Clutch Issues

Alright I have a 94 Mazda B4000 5 Speed. I put a new clutch in it about a year ago and and now have about 30,000 miles on it. I have noticed that over the past two weeks that my pedal has grown to be very short, as in, if I rest my foot on it, it will try to disengage. The clutch was a new CenterForce so I know it was a quality product. Any thoughts or inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Ben Thomas

I've seen centerforce pressure plates get funny like that before. Their friction disks are very high quality. Their pressure plates sometimes don't live up to the same standards.

I'm not sure exactly what causes it, but i know that the few times I've seen centerforce setups do that, replacing the PP fixes it.

did you replace or resurface the flywheel? if not, it's probably worn out...

sounds like there may be an issue with the clutch master cylinder. residual pressure may not be bleeding off when the clutch pedal is at rest. how is the pedal feel?

Hey sorry i didn't get back sooner.

When I put the last clutch in I had the flywheel machined so that is good.

As far as the the master cylinder, I put a new one in at the same time I did the clutch "that was a P.I.T.A."

The pedal feels the same as always. It is stiff but but smooth. and yes I was thinking residual pressure as well, but I don't think that this system can have that happen, can it?

Thanks Ben

didn't get all the air out maybe?

Did you bench bleed the new master?

bench bleed? whats that mean? i'm wondering because my pedal is iffy too.
