Upper and lower intakes on a 3.0

I recently went to the local junkyard and found a 98 ford windstar with 3.0 pushrod
The upper intake is shaped different and the injectors are bigger.
Would I be able to use that set up on my 98 ranger without using the windstars computer. And get more horse power. I am also going to put headers on it and upgrade the exhaust.
