Hey All..

Got a question! On my '90 Ranger... 2.3-4 cyl. 5-speed, there is a steel tube that angles up from behind the engine block on the driver's side and comes out on the passenger side, ending kind of in line with the back cylinder. Looking at the end, it seems to be meant to connect to a rubber hose.

I only became aware of this line when the jury-rigged plug installed by some predecessor failed, spraying a hot engine with most of my coolant. :annoyed:

I've rejiggered the jury-rig till I can figure out what is going on. :icon_idea:

I can't identify anything in my Chilton that indicates what this is. Any thoughts?

Appreciate any advice!

Amanda
