I gave my friend my Jeep 4.7L stroker project on a promise to pay it back. $2000 in total. Basically an entirely brand new engine.

As of several weeks ago it was officially his. Granted I've known him for YEARS before this and he's never screwed me or anyone else over.

Eh, I have a few friends I trust. I traded a submachinegun for a rifle and some work - I couldn't catch him home so I just walked in and left it on his bed before I had even gotten anything in trade. He also agreed to the swap after having never seen that specific gun, but he knows how I keep my stuff. I still haven't gotten the work out of him - but that's partly my fault. I'm still waiting for us both to get the same day off! I consider him and his brother to be good friends, though. I once spent 10 hours straight working on their pellet stove when it died during the winter.
