Hello I have picked up a little 2000 Ford ranger 3.0l 4x4 had new dorman exhaust manifolds out on driver's side has two mounting points for egr my uses the top hole side hole has block off plate keeps leaking any one know a way to seal it it s a cast iron manifold.

Pipe plug. IIRC 22mmx1.5. Double check size as its been several years since I blocked off mine.

is it thread under plate
Sorry, the one I blocked was a bung with threads visible. Doesn't sound like the same type. I haven't seen your type. If its a plate you should be able to remove it and replace or make a gasket.
It would be prudent to take it to an exhaust shop and get them to at least loosen, if not fix, the bolts. That way if a bolt breaks they can fix it.

Yeah this is the plate on a dorman 674-413 exhaust manifold I d post pictures but sit that file is too large to peocess

I better let someone else help. I don't know that manifold.
