Turbo 2.3 Ranger Kit

Hi I was wondering if this kit even works.

That kit is a bunch of random parts that would have to be heavily customized to work in a Ranger. The only part of that kit actually designed for a Duratec is the header, but it's designed for a transverse mounted FWD duratec. It's going to put the turbo in a very bad spot in a Ranger (the frame sits there), and would almost definitely have to be modified heavily.

You'd be better off going with a remote mount turbo setup, but again, it's going to require significant custom fabrication.

If you're dying for some boost, and you really want to try a "kit", your best bet is to start with something designed for an application where the Duratec sits longitudinally instead of transversely. Think Miata/Caterham, not Fusion/Mazda3.
