Not really tech related...

I am making a showboard for my truck, pretty much a framed poster with the specs of my truck on it for car shows. I am going with an engineering theme for something different. I have never seen one like it and with an engineering background it is kind of personal too.

I was going to have completed truck in the center, with various assemblies around the outside... kind of like a blueprint with auxiliary views. I have a 8.8 to take a pic of, but I need a pic of the front. I have a computer program that converts a pic to a line drawing, not exactly great for engineering but good enough for a background.

If anyone has a nice clear pic of a D28/D35 from the front ds angle that somewhat looks like how it sits in the truck... not in a pile in a clump of weeds I would appreciate it.

Basically this is what I have:

Do my truck next!!!!!!!!

Really it is pretty easy, just play with the light/dark to get the best contrast so it can pick up boarders... the hardest part is editing out the background.

I used Kodak Easyshare (came with my camera) to set the picture up, and Paint to take out what I don't want.

Lets ust say I failed art in highschool...thats probably why my truck looks the way it does.

I didn't fail, but by no means was I exceptional. I really struggled with the "art" part of it.

I can give you as many views to scale that you want of something... but trying to make something look artistic doesn't come easy to me.

Put up a pic and I will give it a whirl...

Is this helpful, i am bored at work so i ran out to my car and took a pic with my phone.

Thanks for the effort, but I am looking for the whole assembly out of the truck, I have one in my truck too.

BTW nice tires. :icon_thumby:

Something like this but at more of an angle like your first picture.

Ahh. i guess i didn't really understand that, it doesn't directly say not for one not in the truck.

Also thanks for the compliment :icon_thumby:. They are retreads from treadwright, they have been amazing so far and only cost me around $370 shipped.

I didn't even think of specifying... I can take zillions of pics of the one in my truck.

I thought the tread looked a little different, didn't know if BFG changed the pattern for the smaller tires or not.

Ill get a pic of my truck to you when I can. I would do this if I could but have no idea how to even do something like this.

Im glad to have gotten rid of that d28. If I didnt get my d30 for free, I would have done a d35 swap with lift and whatnot.
