ive been searching every where trying to find out how much to space my lower ball joint from stock and the best way to do it. can any one give me any tips or pointers on it. i am trying to do about a 4" lift on some d28 beams and extend them before i pick up a d35 to cut, turn and extend for my truck.

if you cutt and space the BJ out inch on each side your going to have a camber issue on one side.

best thing to do is figure your ride height your after, cut the BJ pocket out, push it out to bring camber back in spec and weld it back up.

to give you some more help, go to race-dezert.com go to the forum, use the search function. search for autofab and alot of threads on cut and turned beams will come up.
