Truck wont start with key but will jump the solenoid

So I've replaced an ignition switch, solenoid and can't get it to start from inside still. I put a new really in each spot and nothing happened. The positive wire gets no power to the solenoid. Can anyone help me out?

It sounds like the signal from the "start" terminal of the ignition switch is not getting to the solenoid. That means tracing wiring looking for an open circuit.

be sure that the ignition switch is working properly, the rod is pushing the switch in to the correct position first, then move on to @rubydist 's suggestion. This means test the ignition switch first, not the key switch but the ignition switch.

I put it in myself and it pushes all the way back how it should when I turn the key.
