i just replaced my rear end and the only thing i did since then was push the truck out of my garage and steered it to park it in the driveway. i just started it for the first time to test drive it and as soon as i started to turn the wheel the truck shook. it was shaking while the truck wasnt moving just sitting in the driveway running. the shaking is really bad i didnt even get to test drive it yet. any help would be appreciated as to why i am getting this horrible shake.

I'm leaning towards the steering fluid needs bled. Drive it or keep turning the wheel back and forth will bleed it. The air works its way to the reservior on it's own when cycling the steering. Mine does the same thing if it sits untouched, unran for a few days.

+1

every time i turn the wheel on my 2000 ranger when its not running, it does the same thing. like FX4wannabe said...drive it. it will eventually work the air out of the system.

you can also start it and pop the top hose of the oil cooler and have some one add it through the top to keep it from getting more air and it will bleed out that way too.

dose anyone know what is causing this. i'm getting sick of bleeding the steering
