trouble code p1443

Hello all,

So yesterday I took my ranger in the mud, and today I got trouble code p1443. I popped my hood and saw that one k the lines to this little black box below the battery was broken. I'm not entirely sure what the line is for or the box itself. I have a picture eof it however. Any help is appreciated.


Edit: the view angle is right over the drivers side headlight. The battery is just off to the right of this image

After googling it might be a canister of some kind?

That is part of the system the code is for, and should be fixed, but the more likely issue is the little solenoid up the line.

Where exactly is it? Is it more towards the driver or farther under/towards the passenger side of the car?

Update: I found the problem, but not a fix. It needs two different size hoses at each end
