so i have been searching for awhile on what header to get and ive seen that tri y's work well for 2 wheel drive trucks but hit the front drive shaft on 4x4's so i took the risk and bought the headers to see if i could make it work myself so after a while of being lazy and putting it off because of the winter lol i finally went out in the garage this past weekend and mocked it all up. First i marked where i needed to cut and made a 45 degree angle cut and flipped the pipe to make it look like an L and match up to the cut i made....but the rough part was i had to make the header point down to go under the transmission pan so i had to cut a chunk of 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipe off and weld it to fill in the gap....thought id post this for the people wondering about tri y's and one way to mod them to make them work
