Tremec Trans Question

Has anyone installed a Tremec transmission in their V8 Ranger. My 88 had a T5 world class but it didn't hold up to the power. I'm looking for feedback on the fitment and anything that might be important pertaining to things like that.

All T5's since '85' have been World Class, even the 4 cyl and made by Tremec. Strongest T5 would be the aftermarket "Z" spec. You meaning the 550/600 series Tremec? Tominator (?) has one in his Ranger. Ever look into a Astro Performance or "G" Force T% instead?

I've looked into the Astro and the G-Force, thier horsepower / torque ratings are just below where I need them to be. The TKO500 & 600 are where I should be so thats why I was wondering if anyone has installed one themselves.

The tremec trans from the newer Mustangs will be a hard install due to the shifter style and location. I suspect it is gonna be back pretty far.
