I installed a TKO500 in a 2001 Dodge Dakota. The motor was a 4.7 OHC with upgraded cams and ECU. At the time, there was no "swap kit" and some parts - trans mounts, bellhousing, criveshaft had to be fabbed. I never dyo'd it, but a rough estimate would be 300-320hp/340-350lbft at the flywheel. The TKO is rated at at least 500lbft, so they're pretty stout. It was a solid performer. The shifter location had at least 3 fore/aft options out of the box. Coming from a "sponge-O-Matic", it was an improvement beyond description. Yeah, I could have gone with the NV3500 that was available, but it had "truck" ratios and this was a street terror machine.
