Transmission grinds after being underwater

So i had a little mishap a week ago and long story short my truck was submerged and now the transmission/clutch isn't working properly. I stupidly pressed the clutch while it was under water so that may be a problem. When i release the clutch in neutral everything is fine, but when i release it in any gear it just grinds and will catch every now and then and actually move forward some. Any help would be appreciated before is start tearing into it.
