Transfer Case Vent tube

Where does the vent tube to the transfer case attach to? Right now mine is just sitting there on top of the transmission. Is there a bracket that holds it? Thank you

i have a manual bw1350 and the tube has a spot on the shift linkage

Get a new piece of hose and run it up to the engine compartment.

Well the main reason Im asking is because the previous owner plugged the vent tube which I just noticed. I put a new rear seal in the T-case because it was leaking a bit and its still leaking with the new seal. Im thinking its builing up some pressure in the T-case so I need to get the hose unplugged and put it someplace where fluid won't come out of the vent tube.

Yeah, that would cause the fluid to come out of the seals. Fix that asap.
