Transfer Case Rear Output Shaft Broken

My 88 Ranger with a 5 spd and a 1350 transfer case developed a vibration. I found it to be caused by the rear output shaft on the transfer case being broken just in front of the retaining nut for the rear flange.

Where can a guy get a rear output shaft? It is available in the aftermarket or is it a dealer item?

Thanks

Grover

I broke the 13-50 in my 89 in the same place. The output shaft was not available then from the dealer, that was 1999. Replace the whole thing, or find someone with a bad 13-50 and swap the shaft out of that one. Manual or electric shift, doesnt matter, the shaft is the same.
