I was wondering what people r using for a trans cross member for a 5 spd manual from a mustang 5.0l?looking to use a 5.0l from a 1987-95 mustang with a 5 spd.any help would be great.

re position yours if necessary....sometimes they line out fine.

In my 1987 5.0 swap truck, with a new T5Z front shift/rear socket trans from Modern Driveline, I used my original Ranger 2.0 5spd crossmember. I used aluminum to "back" the holes and filled them with weld, ground it all smooth, and then drilled new holes where I needed them to be. It all bolts in like factory.

good to know.i will be modifying my 2.3 crossmember then.thanx for all the info guys.very useful and helpful
