Wanted Torsion bars

Just bought a 2005 FX4, it has sagged B bars. Would like to replace with a set of #1's, anyone got a decent set they want to part with somewhere in the vicinity of reasonaable?

with as many as were built, I'm surprised there isn't an aftermarket alternative... ?!?

I was lucky enough to snag a used set from a member that switched over to coilovers.

Dealer inventory dried up... aftermarket seems non existent.

I'll agree... gonna be hard to find.

Mazda's inventory for the B–series Ranger clones is gone too. Last year, when I still worked for the company, I steered some members here to dealers to get the last few torsion bars in stock at Mazda warehouses. Those few went quickly.

A while back I sent a question to an aftermarket supplier asking about the possibility of making torsion bars for Rangers and Explorers, but never received a response. The demand is there. The Explorer bars were heavier, so producing those would be sufficient for most here who need them for Rangers. I don't understand why none of the aftermarket companies is interested.

The funny thing is my 2011 2WD Ranger has a coil-spring front end and I can get aftermarket replacements for those coils. There are probably more Rangers with torsion bars on the road, so why the difference?
