Thanks for the clarification, and after doing my own trial and error...
... I do feel as though the Ready Lift keys do the same thing as turning up the stock torsion keys. I KNOW it is the shock brackets and longer shocks that makes the ride so good. The shocks are barely long enough for the truck when stock - and only Rancho makes extended stroke shocks.
It has been said that the 08+ trucks are naturally lower from the factory due to the stock keys. If you would have kept your stock keys cranked to the max, and installed longer shocks with the ready lift shock spacers you would have achieved the same ride quality as installing the Ready Lift keys.
Based sheerly upon physics and parts/ service manuals the stock vs. aftermarket keys will surely do the same thing, however the Ready Lift keys will allow you to lift more overall with cranking than your stock keys ever could. They have nothing to do with ride at all. If you cannot achieve enough lift with your stock keys - at that time Ready Lifts are a good option.
The ride is all in your shocks and shock spacers.
I'm a happy maxed stock torsion key driver, and my ride is the same or better than stock.
