Finally had a chance to speak with someone over at Torsen. The state of NY had them in total shutdown until a short while ago.

They are set to resume sales within the next few days.

Hopefully they'll finally make some SLA front diffs again.

Detroit True Trac is the same thing.

But there isn't one for the SLA diff is there?

Not that I'm aware of. Torsen is the only one who makes one marked specifically for the SLA.

It's been ages since I looked but Powertrax made a No-Slip for the late-model front SLA D35. Maybe they still do.

For anyone finding this thread later... that's the 2311LR - and as of 3/17/21 it appears to still be in production.

Anyone heard an update on the Torsen option? I can't get them to even respond to an email about the SLA diff.
Edit - this time when I emailed, they responded quickly!
We currently have the -0207B model in production. At this time, we are projecting that these will be ready in mid to late May.

Powertrax offers an LSD for the SLA 35: https://www.summitracing.com/parts/pwt-gt443527/make/ford/model/ranger/submodel/xlt/year/2011

Last I checked. Torsen STILL was out of stock since when I last got an email from them in late 2019 or early 2020 where they said they had some in stock and were expecting to release them for sale in the spring. They didn't mention a year, maybe they meant this year...

In any case, I plan on getting the Powertrax. I'm done waiting on Torsen.

EDIT: I just did a recheck on the LSD I linked. That is for the rear only now. I guess the front will have to stay open...

EDIT of the EDIT: They list a Dana 35 but say it's only for the rear. Summit must have their wires crossed somewhere. I'll have to give either them or Powertrax a call and find out what the real deal is.

That's the one we were discussing in this thread:

I emailed powertrax earlier today to get some clarification.

That said, torsen did email me yesterday to indicate that the sla diff is currently in production and should be available to order in May.

Not directed at you but I'll believe it when I see it. I'll buy one if they make it but I'm not holding my breath on them making it again.

I'm there with you. That's why I'm hopeful about the powertrax option.
