tk5 shifter bushing, where to buy

been looking for hours now and i cannot locate a bushing for the tk5 trans. no junk yard in my area has one and i can find a new one.

im bout ready to melt a plastic hanger and dip it and shape it to right diameter.

if anybody knows where to find one id greatly appreciate it

You will need to make your own.

Dorman probably did make them, so may have cross reference size that can be modified to fit, but not sure if they would do that for you.

Or replace the shifter assembly with a new one. Or, according to this thread, a tk4 has a metal shifter and works with some bolt relocation. Can't confirm personally.
