Gonna be doing some wheels and tires on my friend's 2007 Ranger XLT 2WD.

I tried to talk him out of this, but he says they will fit, according to his uncle who runs an auto shop.

I just got the tires ordered for him today thru work. I got a set of 31x10.50R15 Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's coming tomorrow from our wholesale center to the Goodyear I work at in Ann Arbor, MI.

My friend ordered his wheels today thru tires.com. He got these wheels:

I also can't seem to find info on the width and offset on these wheels. They're made by MB Motoring, and are called the Razor. It's a brand exclusive to Discount Tire/tires.com/America's Tire.

I went to the website and the rims are 15x8 with a -19 offset.(5-4.5 bolt pattern) They'll fit a Ranger fine. Not sure if the 31x10.50 will fit under a stock 2wd Ranger?

I'm taking his word at it that the tires will fit. His uncle runs a shop down south somewhere, and he talked it over with his uncle before settling on the 31's.

I tried to talk him down to a 30x9.50r15. He was on board for a while, then talked to his uncle and decided on the 31's.

Maybe the offset of the wheel will keep it out far enough away from the suspension in there and what not.

i work at discount tire and thats the exact fitment (15x8 -19) i have on my 4wd and they rubbed just a tiny bit at full lock before i cranked the t bars, he will definitely get some rubbing on a 2wd.

Well, he knows how I feel about the whole thing, and he's still convinced they will fit. So, I'm gonna put em on for him, then it's all on him.

Well, I was finally able to talk sense to the guy. I told him he'd need to crank the torsion bars all the way, and even then it was still a crapshoot as to whether the 31's would fit. So, he's decided to go with 30x9.50R15's.

Eventually, he's gonna throw a mild lift on the truck, then he can go up to those 31's or possibly bigger depending on lift.

But, for now, the 30's will be fine on the truck.
