tranny is for a 2000 3.0, 4x4
looking for the thread specs for mounting manual shifter on the extension housing.
these holes were never used, so they are full of corrosion.
the bigger is either 14x2 or 9/16-12. either goes in a couple threads then stops. I don't want to force the tap because it might be the wrong one.
I'm thinking it's 14x2 but with only 3 turns then a hard stop can't be sure.
I have pitch gauges, quite difficult to get in a hole for accurate results.

the smaller is beating me, a 9mm seems to want to go in, 3/8 seems too tight, 10mm way to big.

if anybody has a parts manual for the manual shifter it should name the bolts, then I could look up the specs.

Cornvieniently my junk is apart and in perfect shape with original hardware... The big one is 9/16-12 and small one is 3/8"-16
