This may not meen anything to you guys....

But in the Ohio State Patrol, patrol car #1000 is reserved for the State Trooper Of The Year. Each year, the state trooper of the year get's a brand new car with that number. At the end of the year, the car is renumbered and sent to the field and a new #1000 is produced.

EDIT: OH great idea, a sticker that looks like the member stickers only it says "1000th Member" where the "2007 Member" is on the current membership sticker. That would be really neat.
